Once you’ve logged in click on ‘Enterprise’ on the menu bar

Here you will see a list of all of the Branded Upload Forms you have created. Next click on ‘Security’ on the sub-menu bar.

This is the Security section’s homepage. The following sections are where you make all of the changes to your Security settings. We’ll go through each of them. The first sections is Access Control – this is where you make changes to who has access to your Branded Upload Form. Click ‘Expand’ to change the settings.

In the first portion of the section is where you can add specific email addresses or email domains to either be allowed to access the Branded Upload Form or specifically be blocked from it. Simply enter the email address or domain and click on Allow or Block. If you choose to block the email address or domain you are done as there aren’t any more choices to make. If you choose to Allow the email address or domain you can change it further by the drop down menu to either allow the email address or domain to either “Receive Only,” “Send Only,” or “Send and Receive”. Once all your changes have been made click Update and they are saved!

The next section is where you can set up Password Protected Downloads. This is an additional layer of security that we offer the individuals using your Upload Form. This will give you the option to either mandate or give the choice to your senders to assign a password to the files they are sending.

The first option is to not require a download password. If you aren’t interested in having senders assign download passwords choose this option. The second choice is for you, as the admin of the account, to choose the download password for each recipient that will be used on the Upload Form. Simply enter their email address and the password you would like for them to use to download files and then click Add. The third option is to require that all recipients be registered users with SendThisFile and they need to use their log in credentials in order to download the file – for info on how to set up users on your Branded Upload Form click here. The last option is to allow the sender to set the download on each of the files that they send. This will require that the sender communicate the password to the recipient through another means as SendThisFile will not tell the recipient what the password to download the file is. Click the checkbox next to “Download Password Required” to mandate that a download password be entered in order for the Upload Form to work. You can also change the complexity settings for the download password in the section below that option. After you have made all your changes click ‘Update’ and they will be saved!

The last section is fairly simple. Here is where you can set the parameters for the users you set up.  Simply check the box if you would like to require that senders are verified, not to allow them to sign themselves up, and allow new users to change their password. The choices here are dependent on what you and your organization need and want.

From the My Account home page click on ‘My Files’ on the sub-menu bar. This will take you to the ‘My Files’ section.

Here we have a chronological list of the files that have been sent through your SendThisFile account. Here you can sort by date sent, status, and search by email address or file name.

You can use this to ensure that your file was sent successfully, who it was sent to, ensure that it is active, change the download limit, and forward it on to someone else.

If you click on the title of the file that will open more details and options. You will be able to see the size of the file, the number of times it’s been downloaded, & the message that was sent with the file. You will also have the ability to reset the download limit to the number of your choice. This is an extremely helpful tool to manage your files and ensure that your files are available when your recipients need them. You will also have the ability to download or delete that file.

You also have the ability to send a file in your My Files to another recipient with out having to re-upload the file. This is an extremely efficient too for resending files.

After you click on ‘forward’ it will bring up another menu where you will need to click ‘click to select’ to the right of the file you are wanting to forward to a recipient.

The next page will ask you for the email address of the person you want to forward the file to.

The next option you have is whether or not to use your system’s default email software or to send a copy of the original notification. You can absolutely do either – for the purpose of this example we will go with the most common choice, the original notification option.

Next is the forwarding screen that will allow you to change the subject line or message box for your new recipient. After you make any needed changes, click on ‘Send Notification’ and your file has now been forwarded to your new recipient!

After you log in to your account click on ‘Enterprise’ and then ‘Custom Fields’ on the sub menu bar.

This will bring you to the Custom Fields home page. Here is where we will create a custom inputs for your Enterprise Branded Upload Form and we will have the opportunity to create multiple fields for each Upload Form. Here we will create a Template that can house many fields. The label you choose for Template will be an internal label for you to keep track of your templates as you make more.

After you have entered the name, click on the green plus button. Another section will pop under the Template name field titled ‘Add Form Input Fields’. Step 1 is to enter the name that your users will see.

After you have entered the label, click on ‘Next Step’, doing so will bring up Step 2.  Step 2 will have you select what type of field this will be. Most of the time it is a ‘text field,’ so that’s what we’ll use in this example. If needed you can certainly choose any of the additional options from the drop down menu.

After you’ve made your selection, click ‘Next Step’. This brings us to Step 3 – Coordinates. If you happen to know the exact coordinates on your page go ahead and enter them here. If you don’t know them, it is no problem at all, we can customize where the field is in the Layout function. Feel free to bypass this step and click ‘Next Step’.

This takes us to our final step – do we want the user to be required to fill out this field or do we want it optional. Make your selection, Yes or No, from the drop down menu and then click ‘Save’

Congrats! The custom input is completed! You will see a summary/edit box at the bottom  of the page. Feel free to make any changes as needed on this input. If you are needing to create another input in this Template, simply go back to Step 1 and complete the process again, as many times as is needed. To put these inputs on your Branded Upload Form, simply click on ‘Branded Forms’ on the sub menu bar and that will take you to your Branded Forms home page. From there click on ‘Edit’ next to the Branded Form you wish to have your Custom Inputs. Next expand Section 5 and click on the drop down menu next to ‘Branded Form Inputs’ and choose the Template you wish to apply. After that, click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page! To make sure that your Custom Inputs are appearing on your Branded Form exactly where you want them, click on Layout and follow the step by step guide to customizing the layout of your Branded From, found here.

Once you’ve logged in, click on the ‘Enterprise’ on the menu bar

Next enter the name of the Branded Upload Form you’d like to create and then click ‘Add’. This is an internal label, no one other than the top admin will know what the label of the Upload Form will be so be sure you pick a name that will help you keep your forms separate and organized, should you create more in the future.

After that it will auto-populate in the box labeled “Branded Forms you have already Created”. Click on “Edit” next to the name of your upload form.

This page is where you’ll do a large part of the changes and customization of your Branded Upload Form. Let’s take it section by section.

Click ‘Expand’ next to Section 1. This allows you to change the labels of the default portions of what will be on your Branded Upload Form. You can change any of the text in any of the fields, thus renaming what that portion will be. An example would be the ‘Recipient’ field. You could easily rename that field to read ‘To’ much like what someone would see in an email. By clearing out ‘Recipient’ in the text box and typing ‘To’ we will rename what will be shown on our Enterprise Branded Form. You can do this with any of the text boxes shown

Now we’ll expand Section 2. This is the section that lets you decide to allow for single, multiple, or prefilled recipients.  Most likely, you will want to have ‘multiple’ recipients selected, as it is an additional feature over our other paid plans. You can also set prefilled recipients – which the individuals that will be using your Upload Form will choose, via a drop down menu, who to send files to and won’t have to worry about remembering email addresses.  In order to set prefilled recipients – simply type in their email address under the ‘Prefilled’ button and enter a display name (whatever you want, or nothing at all) and then click ‘Add’.  You can add as man as you want and remove them at any time.

Next is Section 3.  Here is where you can let your users have some control over what their SendThisFile experience.  This is a list of options that your users can interact with.  If you check any of the boxes in the ‘Show’ column, the corresponding line will be shown and the user will have the opportunity to check (choose) that selection.  If you check the ‘Default’ box, that option will be shown as the default selection. The ‘Locked’ option will show that the choice has been made and the sender will not be able to change it. This is particularly good for the first two lines; the Secure Transfer & Secure Storage. Most senders like to see that the security options are set and they can not do anything to alter that. [Note: regardless of whether or not the Secure Transfer & Secure Storage boxes, are checked show, default, or locked all transfers & storage are secured with the highest encryption we offer, the ability to show, default, & lock those options are provided to ensure that the senders know that their files are safe and secure]

The next section available is Section 4 ‘SMTP Setup’. Here you can assign an smtp account that you have already set up. This will allow you to mask the SendThisFile notifications so they appear to come from your own servers instead of the SendThisFile servers. This can lead to the end recipients being aware of the notifications they will be receiving. Simply choose your smtp settings from the drop down selection. After that we have Section 5 Branded Emails and Form Inputs. If you have a Branded Email configured, here is where you assign that to your Branded Upload Form. Branded Emails are another way to customize and brand your SendThisFile experience, for both yourself and your users. If you haven’t set up any Branded Email templates, click here for step by step instructions.

Branded Form Inputs are extremely useful and versatile. If you need to have a particular field on your Branded Upload Form (such as ‘Order Number’ ‘Account Number’) here is where you can add that to your Branded Upload Form. This particular feature allows you to customize your Upload Form more than any other. If you haven’t created any Branded Form Inputs click here for step by step instructions.

In Section 6 we find some additional information regarding access to your Branded Upload Form. After you Expand Section 6 you see the actual URL of your Form. You can also obtain, depending on your account, a customer/vanity URL that is brandable to give to your users and clients. This will make it easy for people to remember how to get to your Form. Below that is ‘Website Return Link’ – any URL that you put there will redirect your users after they have successfully used your form to send files. The last box is the actual code for your Branded Upload Form. You can absolutely embed your Upload Form on your own website! Simply copy and past the code on your own site and you are ready to go!

The last section is Section 7 ‘Head and Content HTML’. Here is where we give you the actual code for your Upload Form, for you to alter as much you would like. The most common portion you would need to change would be the logo on your form; this is where you accomplish that. Look at the image below for the portion of the code that is underlined. That is the part of the code that represents the default SendThisFile logo. If you have a logo on a website, all you need to do is copy the specific URL for that logo, delete the SendThisFile logo, and then paste your logo’s URL in that spot. If you have a logo that isn’t on a website you can always send it to us and we can put it up for you!

You’re Branded Upload Form is complete! The next step is to make sure that all of the parts of your Form are in the right area. To do that, scroll to the top of the page and click ‘Layout’. For step by step instructions on how to change the ‘Layout’ click here.
