When Things Go Wrong
There is an incorrect email address for the recipient.
We'll get an error message from our mail daemon that says the notification email can't be delivered. We can't tell if the sender typed in the wrong email address, or if the recipient gave the sender the wrong email address. All we know is that our mail daemon says the notification email can't be delivered.
Sometimes, if we're not too busy, and if you left your email address in the From part of the message, we'll let you know about the rejection message we got from our mail daemon. But don't count on that, though: Take your time to make sure the recipient email address you enter is a valid email address.
More than one recipient email address is entered.
If you enter more than one recipient email address in the Recipient's e-mail address box, upon clicking the SendThisFile button you will receive an error message from your browser, Only a single recipient is allowed!
Make sure only one email address is in the Recipient's e-mail address box and start again.
The Subject, From or Message boxes contains incorrect information.
We will upload your file, and your recipient will see the mistakes. Take some time to properly complete each box.
There is no file name in the File box.
You will get the You must enter a filename error message.
Put in the correct path and file name and you will be good to go.
The wrong path or file name is entered in the File box.
When you click on the SendThisFile button, it will appear as though a file has uploaded in about one second. The red progress bar will flash across the screen. You'll even see the next screen that says, File send complete! Click below to send another file as though a file had actually been uploaded. Your clue that there is a problem will be the second part of the message, File send complete. (0 sent).
Make sure the correct path and file name are entered. The best way to do that is to use the Browse button.
